Application Process

1. Contact us for an application — Families can reach out by email or through our website contact form to request the application.

2. Complete the application — Families share basic information, including children’s ages, clothing sizes, and wish list ideas.

3. Wait for review — Our student team carefully reviews each application. While we wish we could serve everyone, we prioritize based on need and available resources.

4. Approval notification — Families will receive an email confirming if they’ve been accepted into the program, along with details on next steps.

5. Gift preparation — Our volunteers collect and wrap hand-selected, age-appropriate gifts, along with other essentials.

6. Pick-up or delivery — Families are contacted with instructions on when and where to receive their gifts before the holiday.

Services

Holiday Helpers serves children and families across Virginia who are facing financial hardship or going through a difficult season. Our support is open to families of all shapes and sizes. This includes single parents working hard to provide, foster families opening their homes to children, families experiencing homelessness, and those dealing with medical needs or unexpected crises.

No matter the circumstances, our mission is the same: to make sure every child feels celebrated, cared for, and remembered during Christmas, birthdays, back-to-school season, and life’s other special moments.
